Maintenance Supervisor – Manufacturing

Pay: $100,000 annually + bonus potential

Overview
We’re searching for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team of technicians in a high-volume food production facility. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who knows how to balance immediate troubleshooting needs with long-term reliability and preventive maintenance priorities.
What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians on the 3rd shift.
Coordinate and assign maintenance activities through the CMMS system to ensure completion of preventive and corrective work orders.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to processing and packaging systems, conveyors, motors, and drives.
Apply root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools to prevent recurring issues.
Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components while controlling costs.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, downtime reports, and shift handoff notes.
Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, and food safety standards.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and QA to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems (MP2, Fiix, eMaint, or similar).
Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; PLC familiarity preferred.
Proven track record in root cause problem solving and data-driven maintenance.
Experience managing parts inventory and coordinating vendor support.
Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.
Flexibility to work 3rd shift and occasional weekends.
Background in food, beverage, or other CPG manufacturing environments preferred.
