Job Description

As a Shipping Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations, ensuring on-time execution, managing fleet maintenance, and coordinating communication between the driving team and other departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of drivers through any challenges that occur on shift.
Supervise all aspects of the KSI fleet, including driver, fleet and compliance management.
Liaison with operations team to ensure fleet meets operations KPIs
Maintains strict compliance with DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
Verify and maintain HOS and DVIR program for the KSI fleet.
Communicates with management on service or performance issues.
Responsible for timecards, vacation approvals, and conducting performance reviews.
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience in transportation.
Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to plan and organize workload; flexibility to handle pressure and work with interruptions and meet deadlines
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
Ability to remain professional and courteous in challenging situations.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
