Director of Contractor & Dealer Sales
Location: Rochester, NY (covering regional area from Albany to Buffalo)
Compensation: $90K–$120K base + performance incentives (total comp typically $150K+)
Type: Full-time, salaried
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; occasional Saturdays and trade events
This is a leadership role for a proven sales professional who knows how to build markets, lead teams, and grow revenue across the dealer and contractor network. You’ll oversee a broad territory from Albany to Buffalo and guide a team of 4–5 sales representatives driving sales across LVT, porcelain, and hardscape categories.
The person in this role will be the face of the business for residential remodelers, builders, and flooring retailers—setting the tone for how we show up, compete, and win in the marketplace.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of territory reps focused on the dealer and contractor channel.
Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to increase brand presence and revenue.
Execute sales strategies that grow product mix across LVT, porcelain, and hardscape.
Identify new business opportunities within residential remodel, builder, and dealer segments.
Manage pricing, proposals, and project negotiations while ensuring market consistency.
Partner closely with marketing and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience from quote through delivery.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and local association meetings to stay visible and connected.
Review performance metrics, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies to meet quarterly goals.
Represent the company’s products with confidence, value-engineering specifications when needed to meet customer design and cost objectives.
7+ years of progressive sales experience within building materials, flooring, or related industries.
Proven success managing sales teams or large territories.
A relationship-driven leader who thrives on growing accounts and mentoring others.
Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and familiarity with CRM systems.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
