Shipping Center Supervisor - Cleveland

Our company is seeking a Shipping Center Supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing the night shift operations (4:30a shift start time). The role will require management efforts to ensure on-time execution, fleet maintenance and communications with driving team and other departments as needed. 

Responsibiities: 

• Lead a team of 15 drivers through any challenges that occur on shift.
• Supervise all aspects of the fleet, including driver, fleet and compliance management.
• Liaison with operations team to ensure fleet meets operations KPIs
• Maintains strict compliance with DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
• Verify and maintain HOS and DVIR program for the fleet.
• Communicates with management on service or performance issues.
• Responsible for timecards, vacation approvals, and conducting performance reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in transportation. 
• Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to plan and organize workload; flexibility to handle pressure and work with interruptions and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in challenging situations.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Aptitude to be available and adjust working hours according to demands.

Compensation: Salary rate ranging from $54,000-$60,000, based on experience
